Red White and Black Update!

I remember thinking when Barack Obama was elected that the premise of this story would now be irrelevant.  I remember believing the movie "Gran Torino" had pre-empted my message.  I fretted the recent movie "Black or White" would render my story obsolete.

Then there was Ferguson, and Baltimore, and Charleston.  This story is not irrelevant nor is it obsolete.  Though set in the 1960's, it sure seems apropos today.  This is a story for our times set fifty years ago.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

This novel was started about eight years ago and I've been working on it now and again since then. I was never satisfied with the resolution of the story until very recently.  When you get to wattpad (the link above) be sure to give me a "star."  After all, I've been a good boy!
